What is Junkman Drumz Volume 1?

Junkman Drumz Volume 1 is a collection of organic drum and percussion compositions, loops, textures, and one-shots built to be played with. These drums are spicy, impactful, human, interesting, and full of character—sounds that could live on their own, but also leave plenty of room to chop, bend, rearrange, and make yours.

The sounds within this pack are a result of fifteen years’ worth of instrument making, garage sale trading, pawn shop bartering, and antique store rummaging. I truly hope you find inspiration within these folders. My greatest hope with this pack is that the collected rhythms, sounds, and textures spark your imagination and provide a platform for you to create.

Who is Junkman?

Junkman is Logan Todd, a Nashville-based drummer and percussionist known for his dynamic blend of deeply rooted grooves, musicality, and creative sound design. A Memphis native, Todd draws influence from the city’s storied musical heritage, combining soulful pocket playing with a fearless experimental edge.

Logan Todd has become a sought-after drummer in both live and studio settings. He is known for his ability to elevate songs with taste, power, and nuance, consistently prioritizing musicality and feel. His studio work includes recordings for Ole 60, Ne-Yo, ZAYN, Oliver Hazard, Kevo Money, and many more.

He is the first call for Grammy-winning producer, Jacquire King (Kings of Leon, Norah Jones, Kaleo, Zach Bryan, etc). He has worked in legendary studios throughout Nashville and Memphis. Sharing rooms with exceptional musicians and artists has helped him cultivate a style and workflow all his own. He is a passionate player who gives his heart to every project he encounters.

Todd is the creator of JUNKMAN DRUMZ VOL. ONE—a percussion sample pack that showcases his collection of unique, repurposed sound sources. Designed for producers, composers, and beatmakers, the project reflects his passion for texture, tone, and sonic storytelling.
